Global Career Bridge

J-1 Internship and Trainee placement in the USA: hospitality and non-hospitality.

We find and win your U.S. host employer. We accept a limited number of candidates each cycle and match each one personally, one to one, with a vetted American company. You gain a U.S. resume that travels, and a team that handles the details.

Before anything else

Who does what, and who you pay

  • You: decide your field and timeline, interview, attend the visa appointment, pay SEVIS and consular fees.
  • Global Career Bridge: source and approach host companies, coach you, negotiate the offer. You pay a $1,000 or $1,500 placement fee.
  • Your designated sponsor: vets the host, issues the DS-2019 and DS-7002, provides insurance and monitoring. You pay the sponsor's own fee.

Two placement tracks

  • Hospitality placement - $1,000 placement service fee. $500 to start, $500 on successful placement.
  • Non-hospitality placement - $1,500 placement service fee. $500 downpayment, $1,000 after a successful placement.
  • Full service - placement plus J-1 sponsorship, quoted together on one invoice.
