A structured process, not an open-ended job search
GCB runs a structured matching process and looks for placements that fit your guidelines, qualifications, timing, availability, program fit, and the Host Company's requirements. We do not randomly assign candidates. The decision to accept any specific Host Company offer is always yours - we do not force you into a placement or a pricing model.
The 6 steps from application to placement
Pay your entry option
Step 1
Choose how you start: $199 Application Fee one-time (Track A) or $99/month GCB Subscription capped at $297 (Track B). Either option unlocks the same matching process.
Initial screening
Step 2
We review eligibility, qualifications, timing, preferred location, and English-language capability to confirm you are a fit for the J-1 program.
GCB interview
Step 3
Video or phone call with your placement officer to confirm fit, discuss goals, and walk through the program end to end.
Sponsor eligibility check
Step 4
We submit your profile to the J-1 Visa Sponsor for eligibility confirmation before matching begins. No host is contacted until the sponsor confirms you qualify.
Host Company presentation
Step 5
We share your profile with our vetted U.S. host employer network (and the Sponsor's network when appropriate) based on your guidelines, availability, timing, qualifications, and Host Company requirements.
Interview and placement offer
Step 6
If a Host extends an offer, you review role, location, stipend, housing, duration, and pricing model before deciding. The decision is always yours.

Boutique, concierge-level matching
Targeting a specific property, brand, city, or caliber? We are the only ones who do this.
Most J-1 agencies push you into whatever opening is available. We do the opposite. If you want a specific host property, a particular hotel brand or restaurant group, a luxury or 5-star caliber only, or a precise location - New York City, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Colorado, Nevada, Texas, or anywhere else in our U.S. network - sign with us and we will hand-build that match for you. It is a true boutique, concierge-level service that no other partner in the industry offers at this level. Targeted placements naturally take longer (limited seasonal capacity, longer interview cycles, brand-specific requirements) - but the result is the placement you actually wanted, not a generic assignment. The properties listed on our site are example hosts in our network; the full reach is much wider.
If you already hold J-1 sponsorship and only need us to find your host employer, that same matching work is available on its own.
What we look at when matching
Profile and CV strength
Eligibility for J-1 category
Availability and start window
Preferred U.S. location
Program duration (3 to 12 months)
English-language level
Host Company current openings
Department and training needs
One conversation at a time
GCB moves through Host Company opportunities sequentially - typically one active conversation at a time, occasionally two when timing overlaps. You will not be asked to compare a long list of offers, and GCB will not stack offers to pressure you.
Important
Declining an offer does NOT end the matching process
If you decline an offer because the role, location, stipend, housing, duration, or pricing model does not fit, GCB moves on and introduces you to the next Host Company that may be a fit - as long as you remain engaged and responsive. What matters is that the right placement is found for you within the program window.
Why longer programs are easier to match
The minimum program duration is 3 months. Longer programs (6 to 12 months) are usually easier to match because the Host Company has more time to train you and benefit from the program. 3-month placements are possible but typically harder to match.
After you accept
Once you confirm in writing that you wish to proceed with a placement and its commercial terms, that placement becomes binding for further processing. Transfers, Host Company changes, or re-matching after acceptance are not guaranteed and require Sponsor approval and written confirmation.
